Always Forgive

They say never get burned by the same flame twice

‘Cause in the end you’ll end up paying a very heavy price

Why does our heart force us to reach back out our hand

And try to establish something on already sinking sand

They say never hold a grudge and always forgive

But that doesn’t mean you have to accept and agree with the way that others live

There’s a reason the Bible says, “Above all else, guard your heart”

Because it thinks with emotions which isn’t very smart

So a little friendly advice for me and also you

Is talk to God before you open the door and let anyone through
