Castles In The Sky

You count your success by your possessions and bank rolls

God determines it by your impact on people’s souls

We work through life to see who can build the biggest empires

But it will do you no good in the afterlife, if that’s your heart’s only desires

I too, would like to have castles and mansions

But I’m working on mine in the sky and in the universe’s expansions

See, God is the big boss and he pays very well

And if you do a good job, you won’t have to live in a tent or a jail cell
