Dream

How often are we made to feel like our dreams and desires do not matter? We share them with our significant other or family and sometimes the reaction you receive is, “that will never work” or “that’s stupid.” How many times have you felt excited about a new idea or a new career and when you share it and do not get support, you quickly become discouraged?

My guess is too often if you’re in a relationship with a person that has a narcissistic personality. If they are not the center of that dream, they will not support it. If it does not include them in a way that puts them on a pedestal, they will not support it. Remember, it is all about them and the recognition that they may receive.

What can you do? Dust your shoulders off and write down your dream. DO NOT ever let anyone talk you out of it. This is YOUR dream and you’re the only one who can make it happen. Need help finding your dream or your purpose? I recommend the book, Dare to Dream by Megan Savoie.

My dream is to be a writer and Megan’s book, Dare To Dream, helped light a fire under my behind to follow my dream of writing to help women all over the world. Now, here I am starting that journey!! Just a heads up, she does use scripture to help you find your purpose. If you’re not religious, that’s okay! I think you’ll still find it very helpful.

This is YOUR dream! I know you’ll ROCK IT!
